Faith is described as true belief even toward things we cannot see. Abram’s faith in God was so deep that he wandered through a foreign land, convinced God’s promise of a homeland was sincere. God honored his promise to give Abram many descendants, and was proud of the deep faith Abram and his people possessed.

Jesus encourages us to be prepared for his return at all times, for he will come when we least expect him. He tells of a master who entrusts his home to his servants, and fully expects them to be awaiting his return. In the same manner, Jesus can arrive at any moment and expects us to be prepared for his return.

St. Paschal Baylon Church is hosting the first international Listen for Life “Notes for Nourishment” concert in the USA, featuring musicians Donna Stoering and Erin Nolan!

Listen for Life www.listenforlife.org is a global foundation now launching its newest project, Notes for Nourishment, whereby artists donate their talents and services to play benefit concerts that raise money for local causes as requested.

Donna Stoering and ErinNohan will be playing music for the 5:00 p.m. Sunday Vigil Mass at St. Paschal Baylon parish on August 14^th, followed by a free one-hour concert of classical and religious melodies, and all are welcome. A donation basket will be on hand and the concert will benefit the Music Ministry needs at St. Paschal’s.
